The True Story of Not-So-Believed Events
Memoir (or Accusation?) of a Ghost from Christmases Past

Poor wretched boy. That’s how they characterized me. Like I was frail and weak, and I never had a bad word to say about anybody.
That’s what they wanted you to think.
Knocking back a pint, talking about what would sell in the weeklies, they dismissed the real story immediately. Too hard to believe a kid would do that. And ghosts only exist in dreams.
Yeah, right. Suckers.
The real ghosts are the ones who beat you up at night because you’re attempting to sleep under the rubbish stench of the Thames.
Old Man Scrooge never saw me coming.
